Choosing a new book.
Brain: Okay, done with the first Game of Thrones book. Hurrah.
Conscious: k bro good job
Brain: What now? The next book?
Conscious: well u better read at least something. do it for the personal karma.
Brain: I did like Game of Thrones. Good for karma?
Conscious: it's not playing video games, and it's reading. you know it's good for you.
Brain: True. Well, now that I think about it, I know lots of people who read way, way more than me, and in some cases they're ironically not better-read.
Conscious: idk, you should read something sciency or at least something that otherwise improves your perception of the universe.
Brain: True. Perhaps I can read A Clash of Kings and something nonfiction at the same time.
Conscious: good deal, go.
